Frequently Asked Questions

What is Inspose?+

Inspose is the shared pose-planning platform for photographers and their clients. Save pose inspiration into collections, build a board for the shoot, invite whoever’s involved, and then run shoot day with Photoshoot Mode — a live checklist that tracks which poses are shot and which ones your client is still waiting on, so nothing gets missed.

How does Inspose help photographers?+

Photographers build unlimited "My Boards" for common session types, manage active shoot events with upload caps, and invite clients to collaborate on a shared pose list ahead of time. Public collections let you show off your best work to attract new clients, too.

How does Inspose help clients?+

Clients get their own personal board to save and organize pose inspiration from anywhere, build reusable templates, browse their photographer’s public galleries, bring a partner or friend on to help plan, and share exactly what they want before the shoot — no more scattered screenshots and links.

What is Photoshoot Mode?+

Photoshoot Mode is the pivotal Inspose feature: it turns a board into a live, shootable checklist for shoot day. Check off each pose as you nail it and instantly see what’s still unshot, even under time pressure. Share it with a second shooter, an assistant, or the bridesmaid running point for the group, so everyone’s working off the same live list — no event required.

What is the difference between a board, collection, and a template?+

Board: The shot list for one specific event/shoot. Drag poses in, arrange the order, and invite a client to share it.

Collection: Your pose scrapbook. Save any pose you find into a collection, sorted by style, mood, or session type.

Template: A client’s reusable pose list. Build it once, then apply it for the next board instead of starting from scratch every time.

What’s the general pose library?+

It’s a hand-curated collection of hundreds of on-trend poses and moods, free for every Inspose user to browse and drop straight onto a board or collection — perfect for jumpstarting a shoot when you don’t already have inspiration saved.

Is there a free plan?+

Yes. Both photographers and clients can get started for free with a personal board, a starter set of templates and collections, and limited active events or uploads. Paid plans unlock higher limits and a bundle option for users who are both a photographer and a client.

Can I cancel or get a refund?+

Yes — subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from account settings. See our Refund Policy for full details on eligibility and timing.
